Juul Prinssen's Story
What are your main responsibilities at Aurora Live? When did you join Aurora Live?
I joined Aurora Live in 2024, starting as a Network Growth Manager. In that role, I focused on building and expanding our network, which eventually led to earning the title Network Growth Manager of Europe. From there, I was given the opportunity to grow into a Sales role, where I now focus on new business, strategic accounts, and building long-term partnerships.
What motivated you to join Aurora Live?
The energy of the team really stood out to me. Aurora Live has a young, ambitious culture, and from day one it genuinely felt like stepping into a warm bath. The combination of trust, drive, and openness made it an easy decision.
How has Aurora Live helped and encouraged your career growth?
Aurora Live actively encourages growth by giving responsibility early on. Performance is recognized, but there’s also space to learn, make mistakes, and develop. If you show ownershiphip and ambition, Aurora Live genuinely supports your growth. The transition from NGM to Sales felt very natural and well-supported.
How does Aurora Live support you in overcoming challenges in Sales?
There’s a strong culture of collaboration and honesty. Challenges are openly discussed, feedback is direct and constructive, and you’re never left to figure things out alone. That makes it much easier to adapt and keep improving. You really feel backed by the team.
What skills or qualities do you think are essential to succeed in Sales at Aurora Live?
Ownership, authenticity, and adaptability are key. I always aim to be myself in meetings and make sure I’m the most enjoyable conversation of the day for my partners. Building genuine relationships matters just as much as closing deals here.
What advice would you give to someone who is considering working here?
If you’re ambitious, proactive, curious and not afraid to speak up, you’ll fit right in. And if you want something, whether it’s growth, responsibility, or a new direction, it’s genuinely possible here. You’re encouraged to speak up and go for it.
What has stood out the most in your experience at Aurora Live so far?
The way performance is recognized and celebrated. Strong results don’t go unnoticed, from being awarded Sales Manager of the Season during local kick-offs this year to celebrating milestones together through team trips like Lapland, Mykonos and Billnäs.
It really reinforces the feeling that effort, ambition, and results are genuinely valued. Big goals, clear expectations, but also a lot of trust, fun, and room to be yourself. That combination makes working at Aurora Live both challenging and genuinely enjoyable.
