What is your role & main responsibilities at Aurora Live?
I'm an Account Executive, responsible for the Belgian market. This means generating new business, but as we are responsible for the entire sales cycle, also nurturing my existing accounts. I'm also starting to take on more responsibilities, such as guiding new joiners, conducting applicant interviews, etc.
What motivated you to join Aurora Live?
As I'm fascinated by sales and have a lot of experience in B2C sales, I wanted an environment where I could really learn B2B sales and be challenged. The young team and the extensive onboarding process were deciding factors.
What makes the Belgian sales team unique compared to other teams?
We are quite a junior team, which means we still have a lot to learn, but we are very eager. Winning together is a strong value in Belgium, and we try to help each other whenever we can.
What do you appreciate the most about working in Sales at Aurora Live?
We really try to make our sales team better by providing training, having open discussions that challenge each other, and setting ambitious goals.
How does Aurora Live support you in overcoming challenges in Sales?
The team and the Country Lead are always there to brainstorm and support you. Helping each other and sharing successes are key aspects of how we work.
What has stood out the most in your experience at Aurora Live so far?
The culture. Especially in Belgium, I feel that most of us are here because it's fun to work at AL and because we love proving ourselves.
What advice would you give to someone who is considering working here?
Be yourself, be eager, be bold, and take initiative. Don't be afraid to shoot your shot!
