Enrique Tonzo's Story
What is your role & main responsibilities at Aurora Live?
I work as an Account Executive, focused on building our presence in the Spanish market by engaging with tech companies and helping them generate qualified pipeline across northern and central Europe.
What motivated you to join Aurora Live?
I’ve spent many years in commercial roles, and I always felt that if I could reach the right person, I would most likely be able to sell my solution — the real challenge was getting access to those decision-makers. When I learned about Aurora Live’s business model, I felt naturally drawn to it, as it directly solves that problem. I was really motivated by the opportunity to be part of a fast-growing company with a strong international focus, and a model that directly impacts clients’ commercial growth.
What makes working in the Spanish market unique compared to other markets?
I was the first person to start developing the Spanish market, which made it very challenging but also highly motivating. It involved doing market research, identifying which companies are most likely to need our services, defining a clear and structured go-to-market approach and figuring out the best way to position our value proposition.
What do you appreciate the most about working in Sales at Aurora Live?
The working atmosphere and energy. I really enjoy working in the office as everyone is always willing to help, see you grow and celebrate our successes together. It is also a place where I can see the direct impact my job has on business growth.
How does Aurora Live support you in overcoming challenges in Sales?
There is a clear value of winning together. We overcome challenges through collaboration, sharing best practices across teams, and a constructive feedback culture.
What has stood out the most in your experience at Aurora Live so far?
On the one hand, the level of ownership and the opportunity to build something from scratch in a new market. On the other hand, meeting amazing people with shared ambitions and values.
What advice would you give to someone who is considering working here?
If you like to make an impact in a collaborative environment, this is the place. Be proactive, stay curious, and be ready to take ownership. It is a fast-paced environment with a lot of opportunity to grow.
